Exactly how big is that glass... if we're talking tiddlers ok you'll get away with a tumbler, but if it's koi carp we're talking not even a stein would be big enough

  13. Some **** robbed my car last night. Took my Firetrap boots, sunglasses, work keys and a winning (£1) scratch card.

They left the £8 winning scratch card, about £6 in change, two portable 120gb hard drives, my Helly Henson coat and my Footy stuff that was in there <doh>

    I didn't see tho.....

Seriously, commiserations. It's really bloody annoying when bastards do that- makes me want to throttle people. Did they break in or did you leave it unlocked?

Sorry to hear that Gerrez. Hope you don't have a big car repair bill too.

Thought you meant they took your car there @Gerrez ... least you've still got the motor albeit with presumably smashed in window and it's all replaceable stuff minus the £1 scratchy win the likes of which will never be seen again

Bit worrying they took your keys... I'll bet they thought they were house keys and were looking to do your house over as well

****ing ****s though, this society is ****ed on so many levels

Never had my car broken into our stolen yet touch wood. Got mugged when I was a little un, but I had the princely sum of about £2.40 on me... lunch/snack money so the **** picked the wrong kiddo that day <laugh> absolute piece of **** robbing a 13 year old though which is how old I was when it happened

I had my motor bike robbed (stolen) from outside my front door when I was in my early twenties. Since then I've had my car broken into twice - and prevented a couple of would-be car robberies.
Each time the car was broken into the stuff taken was less valuable than the cost of replacing the broken window.
    ****ing morons.

  19. Good news, I found the £1 scratch card in the car <diva>

I've had a problem with the alarm. It keeps going off at night time. To cut down the annoyance for neighbours, I take the keys to bed so I can stop it quickly.

I think someone's clocked it and realised I don't go outside to do it (I can see the car out the window), the car was unlocked this morning. I think they waited behind car (after activating the alarm) for me to unlock, quickly opened a door before I've pressed lock again. I definitely double pressed the lock button.

I also know the arseholes that live five doors down were outside at the time.

I've reported it to police but not expecting anything. Since found out that the police have that house under surveillance already.

One thing for sure, I'll be going outside and doing a lap of the car with baseball bat in hand from now on.
