http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/L...es-set-agree/story-26827038-detail/story.html ... talk about mixerd messages ... first he prefers Marseille ... then he's not coming because Pearson has been sacked ... and now ....
Maybe this and the Austin rumour really shows who's been buying the players, it seems much more in Shakey or Walshes hands than Pearsons
It has always been perfectly clear that Steve Walsh has been the man who has identified the transfer targets.
But its also been believed that Pearson has had to "OK" the targets, its maybe refershing to think that the owners have just as much confidence in the Scouting team to keep recruiting regardless of manager.
If he comes then is it definitely goodbye Cambiasso? The player himself from what we read is reluctant to come here
I don't think so, if we were to stick with the same formation as last year, theres no reason that Kante and Cambiasso cant both be in the same team, it may even free up Cambiasso to get forward more often. He didn't shoot much last year, but you wouldn't know that from the amount of goals he scored.
Apparently a fee has been agreed... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...ity-N-Golo-Kante-Arsenal-Transfer-News-Gossip His preference is a move to Marseille, but they are only willing to stump up £5m (whereas we have offered £7.8m)
Caen apparently agreed a fee with us a couple of weeks ago. Doesnt look like anything has really changed since then.
Exactly. A fee had already been agreed but the player isn't keen to come. We should forget him if that's true
If he's got a half-decent agent, he'll be being pressed to sign for us over Marseille. Showing a serious lack of ambition if he's willing to stay in France.
