No wedding dress..... Gay = two men. Ergo suits etc. Lesbian can mean same. In fact know somone who was asked to be bridesmaid at a lesbian wedding and she refused to wear a suit for them. In short parents said you are a girl wear girls clothes to the bride. ... or groom... Ermmmmm I never asked which is which. I'd say it's a bit of tack at times depending on the crowd
The differences in what they wear are obvious but that's outside the remit of a wedding planner. They look at venues, flowers, theme, catering, stuff like that. Surely that's no different whether it's man/woman, man/man or woman/woman.
some people NEEED fashion advice. i'm sure your common or garden rock up to a hotel looking for the standard reception fare which involves a choice of linens for the table and figure out corkage etc is not what on offer. mos of us would not pay the rates for this and would just do it ourselves. there is of course a natural reaction to have brazen ceremonies and parties at this point. I'm sure some of it is just plain selling rainbows and stuff. the bigger the "event2 the more they can sell it. who cares. I've been to one and will have to endure the next one (as i reckon she is mad) so I really don't care. the first one was absolutely bog standard as men were older. young grils? will probably be in your face... but then it depends doesn't it.
