    Started with me mams ford fiesta, then bought her next fiesta from her.
    Then bought an astra and after that I started at my current firm and have had company cars ever since.. but with the new company car taxes I may not have one for much longer....

    I haven't got a picture but a H reg ford Escort. Had to explain to my nieces the other day that you used to have to piss about with a choke on a car

    Mine was a Ford Cortina MkIV1.3 GL - totally gutless but a totally different car when I dropped a 2.0 Granada engine in - also went through a hedge a couple of months later like! lol

    Loved the mk1 'sweeney' granada. Mate had one...was a beast..think his went through a few hedges too ...might have been a design flaw in them somewhere ..surely not operator error

    Never had a beetle ..3 v dub campers though..which is pretty much a beetle with a different, heavyier shell on it ... horrendously under powered.

    Wouldn't mind one today..

    I have fond memories of a Nova.
    A lass quite a lot older than me did really mucky things to me one in the back of a Nova on the cliffs near Scarborough.
    They had good suspension.

    Nothing as nice now - a Pug 207 but it does do 90 miles to the gallon on the motorways! Bit comfier on the back seats though <laugh>
