Yeah but if there are 2 of you me and 1 other zombie then we can both bite and you could only go after the known zombie but if you missed then we could have 2 more infected and with them all voting for each other under my control, you'd have no idea who was who....

 

As a SZ if you can get 1 other zombie in your team while you're still the SZ then I think the game is yours to win...

its just getting that bit which is hard.

As as you say mito, getting going is hard but once you get going, it's easy to gather momentum

It wasn't that complicated a game. Some people just let themselves believe it was cos they were desperate for something to go in their favour after night one. Both myself and Swarbs got very lucky in that game cos we both supported Tobes in the vote after he was investigated. The town just missed it. Can't say anything though, as reading through the dead man thread for this game I completely missed the link with Funky that Bod, yourself and Astro all picked up on.

This was my fifth mafia type game and the third one in a row I've had some sort of role. Thoroughly enjoyed all of them - apart from the one where I missed day one and was dead before I even posted

All you needed was to out number the town in actual zombies so I still haven't fugure d that bit.

Lynch and stab = zombie. So you'd max two per day.

If you'd got up to 4 actual zombies then everyone else was prob infected. You and Lucaaas = can cop kill you each night to stop infections getting so many each lynch made more.

I think in the end we need to run it again and experience it... jolly good set up swarbs

 

The town. As in me but not Gerrez who was a mafia cut. Astro was town as well. I think post 10 or 11 if you want to see has details.

 

I think Hidden rules is fun. I think if you had said there were many hidden rules it wouldn't have been so bad. However we thought there was only 1 hidden rule per team so we spent half the time arguing about how something happened as they only had 1 hidden power when infact they had 4. By then as we were unclear with the hidden powers people pretty much couldn't be bothered to work things out. Even Nevilles far spun story was just accepted as i think i (and maybe a few others) weren't sure what to expect from your game. You still did a great job though

 

Keep evolving it mate, it's a good game. Loved the breaking bad angle too. I suspected risen to then got caught up in theories and forgot all about until the very end when you mentioned it.

I fancy doing a scarface and having multiple gangstar groups (Scareface Cartel, Lopez Cartel and Sosa Cartel) and law enforcement agencies (DEA, FBI and IRS) one of which will be a bent agency. Then neutral characters like a PI(who can share his info with the law enforcement agencies for protection/weapons/tip offs), Drug runners, who bounce between gangs contracting work and evading the law, up an coming wise guys who are young impression future gang members who are in demand, Snitches who if happen to be caught and brought in for questioning can keep quiet or strike a deal.

Everyone will have roles(No ordinary townspeople), some only known to other roles. Law teams can win by convictions and the Gangs can win by wiping other all other gangs and gaining an alliance with the bent agency. Gang members don't talk to the cops unless they're snitches. Law will find out info from snitches who'll make deals, stakeouts and cash discoveries from random stop and searches or obtained warrants.

I'll write part one of the story and start the game at a point where there's already information to go on. It's a game I've had in mind for two gamemasters one the Judge and the other the Lawyer, The judge will keep the law side right on if they have met terms to issue a warrants and go to trial and the Lawyer will keep the gang side right giving 'advice' on whether their actions have been met, the lawyer will also advise snitches giving them the chances on whether the evidence can convict. The gamesmaster have no alliance just control that aspect of the game and will work openly with the other on making it run smoothly.

Just don't have the time to devote to setting it up at the moment so I remains just an idea.

Sounds a tad complicated though, more like a video game.

 

It's just an idea, if it has to be simplified to maintain structure that's no problem, I wouldn't risk the game experience just be fancy. but there is an clear understandable structure in there to make the idea work, it's just the depth which could be effected.

 

I don't like te known town.

This is time it wasn't as bad as Bobby agreed not to run the game but you do find a scenario of everyone going with what that person says or else they look dodgy even if you have a different view on things

 

Am I the only one who feels a little uncomfortable that MITO is discussing his sexual preferences in relation to a Mafia Game...

 

I like the no secrets game but we shouldn't be stating that from the start. The confusion comes from not knowing.

It's not what the secret is about, but not knowing there's a secret is what I don't like.
