I am pleased to announce that I am totaly 100% behind not606 and am pleased the old beeb 606 has shut down...I was pondering this earlier and thought..I`ll share it with the woirld tell the world. Apart from no access at work...luckily i`m off work at the mo N606 wins hands down. Not606 is much better no time restrictions no over enthusiastic mods its just so much better. Congratulations to all involved in the runningof this site. I was very sceptical at first and did post on the old 606 during its slow death stateing that I wouldnt be going to not606 BUT reconsidered saw most of the "faces" were here and made the move when 606 disapeared..or just before and glad I did. New forum new season new team with promotion aspirations and real hope. I`m looking forward to happy times for the Addicks and sharing the banter on here.
Ah, the true test will come when things are not so good... but Not606 has certainly had a very positive start and is far more agreeable to post on than the old Beeb equivalent... hardly any P-words on here at all!
I never understood why the beeb always shut the forum at 11pm some of us can't always get on until late evenings so going beyond 11pm works just great for me
Yep, it is a good site. Still a few old names holding back, but perhaps the new season starting will bring them in? A2C is probably busy stewarding on the festival circuit. Benny Hill still needs to be unmasked, and Ducker is in the Lebanon. Time will out all...
Enjoying it. Like the format and good to see so many old names on here. Have popped over to CharltonLife on occasions, just to read and see what it's about. Christ it's awful. Full of pompousness and infighting and posturing for position and attention. Loving the positive vibes on this site.
How about some form of initiation ceremony for them..maybe an induction process? Could resemble the current coalition Government....
The forum has no personality of it's own, this is set by the people who post to it. We have a very good bunch of members here, who are willing to let others speak even if they do not agree with what is being said Long may this continue

Far too cliquey on CL for my liking Better banter and discussion on here - plus Ponders is slowly teaching me about history through the ages .... quite useful if you need something to help send you off to sleep Can someone please do a missing persons report for Tewkes
