Tell you what, guys, let's see what a spot of agreeing does do. Here's the opinion: I love Southampton Football Club. Now, who's with me [PL, you stay out of this].?
Never a truer word Beef. I'm as far away from being a prude as it's possible to get, but as I've got older so has my sense of empathy grown. It's just a cheap, but moreover unpleasant way of trying to get column inches for me. Compare it to Shep Gordon's tactics to sell tickets for Alice Cooper - now that's clever. (Watch the film Supermensch for details - it's a great film).
No, I loved the first series but missed the first couple of this one. I'll probably catch up at some point. Any good?
Different better? I'd imagine it'd take a while to adjust to main characters Farrell and the other chap are a lot different style to Harleson and Macconaughey.
So it appears that I'm the only Saints fan. And perhaps FLT is a conditional one. That's a great advert for this place.
I agree about Saints of course TSS, only I've just got in from the Open Mic night I run, and I'm a bit blown away by some of the people who played. There was a 13 year old girl who sang "Back to Black" with her dad on guitar and she made it sound like it was written for her. Fantastic stuff, the sort of thing that makes it worth while lugging all the gear around. I need to wind down to be able to sleep tonight...
Kanye was a pretty good producer, especially some of those Common albums in the mid naughties. Can't stand the guy as soon as he opens his mouth though. He cant rap imo.
Just love those open mic nights! SO many talented people out there (and I'm definitely not one ) it makes you wonder what you must do to get recognised. I love going to them and listening - in my opinion, anyone who has the balls to stand up in front of an audience and sing or play is a hero, no matter how bad they are. I wouldn't do it!! Well done, Chilco for keeping the art of live music alive!!
Don't wish to rub it in, but as a recently retired personage, I would just like to tell everyone that I am leaving today for a 3 week trip to the Lakes (via the best pie shop in the world in Much Wenlock) and then Scotland. Back on the 23rd - just in time for my divorce hearing which will bring me back to earth with a thump Hope everyone has a great summer ....... fingers crossed for the weather!!
Have a fab time Dave and when you're back we'll touch base in Europa as fixtures will be out then. Enjoy!

Have a great time...I had my first UK holiday in April for the first time since my early twenties. It was great...will certainly do more in future. No airports, flights and England (and rest of UK) is beautiful. I went to Malvern and that area is full of quiet roads and lovely villages. Went to the Lakes and then Scotland when I was 19....rained most of the time and was still stunning....can only imagine what it is like in the sun. Enjoy.
The Scottish Highlands are amazing when the sun is out especially if you are sat up a mountain surveying the view and eating a Snickers
