  2. Fair enough, guess that ruins the point of having a newspaper hacker involved in future games then

It didn't make much difference, but it could have actually been a bit bad as you knew who was mafia from the dead board and you fingered valley to which if a regular townie found it, it would have potentially given things away

Not if you kill the journo before they can confirm what the code means...

  7. Oh, and @Swarbs was making the rules up as he went along. Only head shots kill zombies or stop the infected becoming zombies but "suddenly" Ebola does too <whistle> <laugh>

Yeah, I didn't know the plan to not go against it, at that point I didn't even know how the vote was balanced, I was in and out.

First two days I ****ed the decorating off completely, I sanded back one stretch of skirting board before abandoning it and glued myself to the laptop. My lass was not impressed <laugh>

Good game fellas, think it was more delicately poised than the decisive ending would make it seem but a few key things swung the game dramatically.

Pretty happy to have figured Gerrez and Lucaaas by early day 2, and not from any of the votes shenanigans just pure reads. Can't say I felt too strongly on IBWT or Funky so they mostly evaded me, I remember IBWT piqued my suspicion slightly with something, think it might've been something about him defending Gerrez or not picking up on the things I thought he would, but it barely moved him up my list. Funky just faded into the standard 'Inactive who shows up and says he hasn't read anything and then doesn't really offer anything' slot that is usually filled by a few people so whilst it's a bit suspicious it's hard to make a judgement on it sometimes. I also put Astro as one of my 3, but no regrets there as I would happily have seen him lynched for being another journo to tie himself and everyone else in knots with over-complicating things rather than using the free information platform to get information out.

Kudos to Swarbs for a very well run game, think it was a pretty reasonable set-up too though I think the SZ could've proved very powerful if it wasn't for Lucaaas' lucky strike (though he may have had a good read I haven't seen his rationale yet).

  12. I just think its getting to the point where we've played the game that many times now that little tricks such as this and the terminology thing are creeping in and making things doubly difficult for bad guys. Not so much in this game, we were just ****.

    nice work.

the fact that the lock up also proved me totally innocent was a huge bonus to me. If it had not i would have had to hit lucaaas again tonight or have tried somehow to get him in the mix. the fact was with ibwt talking utter rot i would not have been able to do it.

Day one I wnet Gerrez shot.. (random pick gerrez told swarbs nobody would beleive it) then rhc then no action

day two i went valley at 9:30pm. changed to lucaas during day.

Day 3 had lucaaas selected early but went with reveal and zombie hunt.

BTW @Mikey I was pestering you all day because I had found you were a mason and so Gerrez was the one being protected by Valley in the day one coinflip and wanted to subtly let you know I knew you were innocent

You still called me mafia <doh>

  16. You should have said, I'd have kept you updated <whistle> <laugh>

TBF, it was bad timing for me too. As I said before the game, I wasn't going to be able to get on much on Tuesday or Thursday, then I had to leave the office twice on Wednesday too plus I couldn't get on much on the Wednesday night (I completely missed the nightfall)
