Foxes used to be shy...now they come into towns and the very stupid feed them and they have lost their fear. They are vicious little buggers, but they used to stick to ripping chickens and lambs to bits. Now there are attacks on babies and pets. There were warnings that this would happen if they weren't discouraged. Pity they aren't ugly, because then people would stop being sentimental about them.
Then, once they have become a pest, you call Southampton council to get rid of them. They trap them then release them on some land they own on the far side of Romsey. They wander around unable to cope - no bin bags round there - until they wander onto the farm of a friend of mine, by which time they are starving and pitiful. The people who feed them don't see that bit, so it's alright. Vin
I've taken up playing a bit of casual tennis on the free courts in Portswood. At least with the professionals they've got a good game to back up their groaning. When amateurs do it...it makes me cringe. No need.
Not sure if there was much talk of Glastonbury on here over the weekend, but I was there from Wednesday - Monday and it's certainly an experience! The scale of the festival is immense. I was looking forward to seeing Foo Fighters but obviously they had to pull out after Grohl did a silly. Not a massive fan of Florence but she put in a fantastic performance. Avoided Kanye because I don't like his attitude and I don't like his music, fortunately there is so much going on it's not like I was sat around twiddling my thumbs! I was however most looking forward to seeing The Who. A little bit like when I saw Black Sabbath last year they're past their best, but it was still a pleasure to see and hear them play. Baba O'Riley is also one of my favourite songs so that was AMAZING!
I'm attempting to do Ramadan tomorrow, by which I mean no food between sunrise and sunset. Gonna set my alarm for 2, go back to bed then try to make it the whole day without drinking or eating until 9:30pm. Wish me luck!
Perhaps so. I don't think that lorry is "great" though. Strikes me as the work of a bunch of tossers personally!
I hear you. I just personally think in this instance that line got trampled over...and the humour part is a stretch too.
We all have different opinions tho, but can see why you and some others wouldn't agree with me. It would be boring as **** if everyone agreed with each other 100% time.
