There was a teacher in my school (when I was a pupil) seeing a girl towards the end of her year 13. I know because I saw them together when I was down the Mumbles in Swansea, they ended up getting married and are still together.
Some older women would not agree to a relationship with younger men (especially in some culture). They do regard it as an insult.

This teacher likes to punish this boy without any justified reason, but was unable to change anything, Fortunately for the two student lovers the teacher was transferred from the school.
