Would probably go for 4 but I'd say of all the players there Iniesta's style would best suit 5 a side.

  5. Rooney feeding off Messi would be... embarrassing for Rooney.

You need quick, nimble players for 5-a-side. Pirlo, Messi and Rooney would be hard to beat.

Where are those teams from Bod? How were they selected?

    I'd probably go for 4.

    4.

Sorry but any team with Zidane and Ronaldo in is an absolute beast of a machine.

hmmm, if it is all in their prime I think people are overlooking 1.
Lampard, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo in their prime? Awesomeness.

Seeing as no one has ever seen ANY of these players play 5 a side, its just as plausible as any other player doing it.

If I were to combine the teams, I would go with Neuer (can be more involved in the game than the other three keepers), Gerrard (versatile - energy, defensive work, passing and goals), Messi (skills!) and one the Ronaldos, possible Brazilian for more goal threat. Not sure which defender I'd go with though.

Let's assume they're all in their prime, and we're playing can't enter the D rules, GKs can't leave.

    Team 1:
Pros - Great keeper. Won't be able to see any of his off the line heroics though, but he's agile and nimble enough with distribution.
    - Ronaldhino. Controversially, I think he'd be the best at 5-a-side of all the players on offer.
    - Great finisher in Ronaldo, unquestionably.
Cons - Slow defender. While you know he could be a rock, he's also going to have a problem if he's left one on one with virtually all the other strikers
    - Slow midfielder who's chief skill is arriving in the box late, not, in my opinion, suited to 5-a-side. Low blasts from long range less useful in a great short-game player.
Overall - I don't see them gelling into a great team, they're not great passers (compared with others on the list), so possession based play is out. They're not fast, so countering is out.

    Team 2
Pros - 2 of the greatest technicians of any generation in midfield
    - Henry, one of the best forwards I'll ever see. Direct running, flair and a bit of skill.
    - Slow defender again, but I'm saying the most committed player of all time would be an asset on any short-game side, he'd skin his knees to save a goal.

Cons - Weakest goalie amongst greats, though he'd dwarf a 5-a-side net, not as agile as the others.
Overall - Could play neat passing play between the top 3, and could use Henry's pace on the counter.

    Team 3
    Pros - Messi. Just Messi.
Pirlo and Puyol ensure the opposition would barely have a sniff of possession.
Who wouldn't want that Keeper barking out German behind you?

Cons - Rooney's work ethic would be unbelievable on the 5-a-side pitch. But he's limited technically compared with the others and to be honest, ruins it a bit.

Overall - I think they'd win against all the others comfortably.

    Team 4
    Pros - Great inviduals

Cons - They'd be taken apart by actual teams, like all 5-a-side fancy dans are.

Funny how in each team, the English player is probably the weakest link. The good old 'golden generation'.

the English players shouldnt ever get picked (as there are better alternatives) as all of them arent skillfull enough, all they really offer is "industry" and "good engines".

If Rooney, Lampard, Terry, n Gerrard were so good how come they never played for Real Madrid or Barca as they always have the best of the best

Maybe they were/are happy to play in the best league/one of the best?
