Bilingualism or multilingualism is strange. Kids do grow up using all manner of combinations.
Provided we don't revert to the stone age and the world continues on its path to multiculturalism, one day there'll be a world wide language comprised of a mash of all the current ones.
    Of course, English already is.

True, I am just amazed she knows the meanings but was never taught them in a schooling sense, she figures it out herself at 2 years old. The potential of the human brain at that age is amazing. I am on my third try of rosetta stone Finnish <laugh>

Yeah, this thread is well and truly derailed.
Back on topic (almost). Though I never had a thing for my male monk teachers, surprisingly - I did have the hots for a (female) neighbour of mine. I was about 15, she was early 30's.

Nothing happened, btw, before you start pressing me for details, apart from the fact that I used to make pathetic excuses to visit her house in order to gawp.

Funnily enough, I was the same with one of my mate's mothers. I'd just moved from Liverpool and had a few mates on the park of varying ages. One of them was about 5 years younger than me and hi mum was an absolute ****ing diamond. I played out round there quite a lot <laugh>

Guy called Michel Thomas teaches language in a way that is compared to how you learn it when you are a child.

    http://www.michelthomas.com/

So much more effective than how it is taught when you are growing up or an adult.
