Dunno to be honest. Rosler could've just been caught by a reporter leaving or entering ER for all we know and they've stopped him to question him on Byram. I get it mate and you don't come across as gloomy (read JA if you want gloomy but remove all ropes and sharp objects around you before you do). Not banking on Erwin but am excited to give him a chance and I think 2 or 3 more astute signings could make this really interesting. If we hold on to Mowatt, Byram,, Taylor and Cooke and they all develop with another year under their belts, throw in Wood, Erwin - interesting, maybe Ajose if he can get over his fear of playing for Leeds, and a couple like Murphy and Barker (even if it is only on loan) - that looks way more exciting than the team that started at Millwall last August!! I know 60 doesn't want Barton but him too if we could and we will be close. I'll throw one more free agent in if only he could just stay fit - Diaby just released by Arsenal. Pay as you play or something, seen him live twice (my son is a Gooner) and he is immense!!
Diaby is phenomenal. I heard he was off to the states though. I'm not sure he would be keen to drop a division for a pay as you play deal even with all his injury problems. Only one way the management could find out I guess. Another that interests me is Abdisalam Ibrahim. He's just been released by Man City, 24 years old and a defensive midfielder. Think he could fit in, not seen his name mentioned anywhere at all though other than a couple mild rumours about him going to Villa and Watford.
Sky sports were interviewing him about the wood signing, then they asked about byrams future. So it wasn't a statement released by rosler just an answer to a question. Interview on YEP
Good mate, i'm gonna try to be more positive this season Have renewed mine and the kids membership seeing as Mr Cellino seems to be making an effort and looking forward to a better season.
I saw the MLS rumour too. Not saying we could get him, but, as you say, you don't ask you don't get!! Don't know anything about Ibrahim - mainly because of my complete apathy towards the ridiculously rich big few.
