It does look better than previous seasons and as it stands I see us finishing 7-10th.
Assume Byram is off, we need a leader, Not Barton. Break the bank for Cellinos friend Pirlo......

so thats two games suspended (pending on how the yellows were spaced out) a season. Not saying he is the signing we need, but like Diouf I had a pre judged image of someone in the stands constantly and i dont think its true. I just think everyone notices a Barton **** up as he doesnt do things by halves!

Don't you get five games for picking up 10 yellows, plus three for 5 yellows pre and after Boxing Day?

Plus the three game bans for straight reds for serious foul play?

Expect him to be banned for 8 games at busy periods!

People are just hoping for some "qualility" as a change from all the potential....
Barton would walk into most teams from top 10 prem down, so why would he come to us?

I'd snap him up immediately if we had the chance to sign him.

Pay him £20k/£25k and make him captain & sit him in between Cook & Mowatt.

He's a great passer of the ball, his workrate is excellent & he isn't scared to get his foot in.

Our midfield last season, as youthful/skilful/hard working as they were...were overrun a lot because the opposition midfield didn't fear any element of it.

With Barton in the middle of the park that would change. And at the age he is at, he could be a really good influence on the current crop of youngsters as well as the next generation.

I think you would change your mind if he started on the first day against Burnley and put in a tackle that made an Elland Road with 30k in it roar with delight.

He is exactly what we need in my opinion.

We can offer what we want to pay, if he wants more...he'll have to get it elsewhere.

Don't forget his current wage is £0 per week, as he was released by QPR. He cannot really demand £50/£60/£70k a week anymore.

If he's looking for a club where he could earn his coaching badges, with a god youth set up and plenty of talent to work with...Leeds is the place.

Sorry so he is exactly what we don't need someone withy a big ego which BTW is not justified Newcastle lpost millions getting rid of him we would lose heavily getting shut after he had been sent off many times .We have a good captain Bamba so immediately you are undermining the moral by giving the thug the job NEVER NEVER would I want the liked of him representing Leeds have I made myself quite clear on this matter

Ok relax mate. It's only an opinion, isn't that what this place is for? Give ya fanny a wipe and chill the **** out.

Newcastle paid £6m for him. We would pay £0.

He was on a 5 year contract at Newcastle, we could give him 1 year rolling or 2 years at the age he's at now.

For experience & quality, I cannot personally think of anyone better who is currently available and think he would be suited for us...again this is just my opinion. If its ok to share my opinion still?

I don't think that his discipline would be an issue, it was ok last season...5 yellows gets you a 1 game ban...10 gets you 2/3 games I think...we've players who are worse than that already.

You have no idea (outside of the media) what his ego is like...I'm guessing you think his attitude is as bad as what I think yours is...again that's your prerogative...I just hope you don't talk to people like that in real life.

Does the '60' in your name represent the year of your birth? Because you sound like a teenage girl the way you finished that comment.

Sausage - you the man!! Spot on assessment - would have had multiple England Caps if he wasn't such a w4nker although, for some reason, that didn't seem to affect Gerrard

Oh im not for 1 second saying he isn't a bellend.

He is a proper bellend, and I cant imagine for a moment that Id enjoy a night out in his company.

But we've had pricks play for us before, we have pricks playing now, and we'll have more pricks play for us in the future!

The world is full of pricks....I'd just rather have the pricks that are best at football playing for Leeds if we were to have any at all.
