Rangers have agreed a fee with the German club and Polter, 24, is finalising personal terms. Youngster Michael Harriman has signed a new contract at Loftus Road, snubbing potential moves to Luton and Wycombe. Fans on Twitter have been reacting to yesterday’s unveiling of QPR’s kits for next season – and the news that the hoops do not appear on the back of the shirts. In terms of transfer speculation, Italian media reports claim QPR are looking to sign Mauricio Isla on a permanent deal, while the Daily Mail say West Brom are discussing a £22m move for R’s duo Charlie Austin and Matty Phillips. please log in to view this image QPR have been linked with Isla – but did not attempt to keep him
We can't sign Isla due sponsorship restrictions following Sandro debacle. Like the look of Polter though
He's been playing in Italy since 2007, wouldn't be surprised if he had an Italian passport by now, don't know that though, just guessing.
No chance Isla comes back and plays in the Championship Never seen Polter play but here's hoping he's got goals in him, we're going to need someone who can bag 15 plus
I could never understand why after they came onboard that they weren't played together more often in their best suited positions - the idiotic Zarate loan move also messed their heads up.
Neither Isla or Vargas wanted to play for us. They both caved in towards the end. Along with many others they feigned injury or lack of fitness. Man City away was the culmination of this. When you add Taarabt, SWP and Kranjcar to this list as well as Hoilett, Traore and of course the Sandro debacle ( Rio Ferdinand, understandably) we were pretty much thin on the ground. We had too many players more concerned with their wages rather than representing the R's.
9's, my impression - just from watching them play - is that Isla cared a bit more. If what you state is true then of course we do not want him back.
I'll bow to some ITK but agree RTID. Just watching him warming up, seemed to just love being out there and enjoying himself. Seemed to get lumped on the bench a lot for no apparent reason.
