    Good Morning Everyone,

As many of you know former Manchester City winger Adam Drury has been on trial at Elland Road this week

The 21-year-old, who can also play as a full-back, is familiar to Rosler having played in the academy under the German during his time with the Man City academy.

Rosler told BBC Radio Leeds. "I know Adam from my time at City when I helped out with their academy and I coached him. "It is an opportunity to have him here. We can have a good look at him and he can have a good luck at us and it is a win-win situation for both of us and we will see where it takes us."

Keeping with Citeh, It seems Brendon Baker could be next on Rosler's hit list.

The youngster is expected to arrive on a loan deal initially with the option to buy.

Lets not forget peeps, that the transfer window only actually opened yesterday.

Barker is left footed and has some serious pace about him.

City certainly rate the youngster highly.

If we can capture this lad, it shows serious intent. Even the skeptics of us will have to stop and pay attention.

Looks like we will be signing a few more players in the next month or two, especially if Rosler has his way.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds. "I think we need two or three more players, especially for the way that I would like to play. Every manager has his style of play and his formation he would prefer.

"In some areas we have lots of players and probably a few too many now and we need to act. We have a plan and so far, it is going right to the plan and in adding players like Lee (Erwin), Charlie (Horton) and Chris (Wood), who are at the beginning of their careers and that is our philosophy now."

    Morning all

Rosler wants 2 or players to play his system but I'd argue we need a couple more for back up as well not to mention replacing them we will sell from now to the end of August.

It's great to see we are going for young players instead of older players.

I do wonder though as Rosler looked at the squad how many of the players have been put on a hit list?

Good morning Matt from a hot sultry Bardsey
Jack Charlton many years ago said to me to form a good team you must have a strong spine once this is achieved the rest is easy .By that he meant goal keeper centre half and centre forward well it seems many years on this still applies
We have signed those 3 already now to get some wide boys
I think now that Clyne has gone to Liverpool the Saints will now up the ante to sign Byram and I can see him being sold for close to £8m .I think that Cellino has done it the right way round buying players as cheaply has he could .If he had sold first the asking prices would have shot up.
I never forget Jimmy Armfield selling McQUEEN FOR 450k to Man U and we wanted to replace him with Paul Hart from Blackpool the club had turned down a 175k bid from Wolves they knew how much we got for McQuuen so the upped the asking price to 330k not good business
I hope we get rid of Ajose Bianchi Morrison and Sharp who could be used as bait to sign either Jamie Murphy or Patterson from Forest
I think that Byram could be replaced by the boy from Chesterfield Darikwa so its exciting times for sure at ER

Am I the only one not seeing everything as rosey as everyone else..?? I'm normally pretty optimistic, we still have a long way to go though imo.

I don't think we should get rid of Ajose but keep him as an understudy for who ever we get as a right winger be in Drury or Paterson

Morning all, fingers crossed for Barker although I don't believe for a second we will have an option to buy him, not when you read how highly he is rated. Add to that he has said himself he wants to go out on loan to prove himself to City.

I think the only delay would be City requesting he gets game time with whichever club he goes out to. Not that it matters, if he joined and helped us win promotion all that could change.

Rosler said he is after just 2 to 3 more players... Barker, Moore and Barton for me, Barton as captain and win over the fans as Diouff and Vinnie did.

60 to keep him as an understudy. Maybe with a decent coach and not with a Hockawally he might actually do something decent. He did pretty well for Crewe last season

We've signed 4 players. 1 of whom is a goalkeeper who probably won't feature for years. Nothing against the signing but isn't gonna immediately improve a first team that languished above relegation from the championship last season. Then we've signed Erwin, again nothing against the lad but can't see him breaking the first team if everyone stays fit and proper. Bamba, great signing yes but we had him last season so isn't improving the first team that finished last season. Chris Wood, another great signing and probably the only player that is improving our first team.

So basically, to the team that finished last season. We've added depth and a striker. A hell of a lot more to do imo. You can be happy with that if you like, I'm not disappointed but I find it hard to get overly excited when our recruitment is nowhere near complete.

I think it is more the intent Josh, Bamba signed after defending Redfearn and speaking out against Cellino and Wood signing despite a high price tag and speaking positively about the club.

If Rosler plays every player in their best position it will be interesting to see how we perform no more RB at LB make shift left midfield players etc, if we get Barker or similar then I think we are in decent shape.

Enough to challenge? Not quite but if we see progress and we are not far off as Boggers usually points out, a signing or 2 in January and who knows.

Josh how are you so sure Erwin will not get a starting role because I think exactly the opposite I think he is the very best signing we have made for many a long day so in the words of Lord Asquith we will wait and see

Morning Mike, fair play to Cellino, if GFH or Bates had been in charge, Byram would have gone by now...

Moro and Sharp are as good as gone.

    Positive times at Leeds ahead...

Sir I see your 10 years and a raise you another 3. I think this has been the most positive we've been since the sacking of O'Leary

Wood would only want to join a team with ambition. The fact he joined us shows the new infrastructure is working.
