Off Topic Mafia VIII - Mafia vs Zombies

Things that actually happened, not just what our known enemy said:

Gerrez was named in the coinflip by the cop (with Mikey and ACS)

I voted for myself to put myself on 2 votes, making myself a tempting target to anyone wanting to change the coinflip

Gerrez and Valley jumped on me to try to change the coinflip

ACS died in the final coinflip (the other two in it being Gerrez and Mikey)

Gerrez and Valley spent all of day two arguing against me

I gave Gerrez about 10 chances to admit his attempt to go against the cop and change the coinflip on his own was a bad idea but he thought he and Valley could outvote me

Valley was revealed to be mafia, which I had spent all day pointing out



At the very least this argument should make sense to Mikey who was in the coinflip, so if @Mikey is innocent he should be able to see that Valley was trying to help get Gerrez out of the coinflip night one

 

Oh but wait a sec guys I've just thought of something!

Let's take astro, the current person most likely to be innocent after last night (aside from Bobby and MITO), and lock him up!

And even though Gerrez has been dodgy as **** from day one and has voting patterns aligned with a known mafia, let's lynch someone else instead because there are so many other good candidates!

This way ALL OF THE TOWN'S RESOURCES are dedicated to locking up the most likely innocent, NOT killing the most likely mafia Gerrez but using up all of our investgators on him instead, and lynching some random other person who we hope turns out to be a bad guy!

Morning all, I see we're off to a flying start.

 

One thing I realised I missed last night ( partly due to number of posts to keep up with and partly due to being pished) is whether it's possible that Tobes must have been infected on night 1 and then killed on night 2, or whether sequence of actions mean he could have been both bitten AND assassinated on night 2.

This detail could be important as depending on the answer I may have a read on someone (or a theory at very least) which means they would be dangerous to lynch due yo zombie infection.

My phone is absolutely useless for scrolling back over pages to check.

imahine if you don't lunch gerrez, you lynch someone random and it's the journo, then what? You have no way of finding remaining mafia, and they will have gained another kill while you ****ed around.

There are a few holes in that logic though Astro, all of which have been pointed out to you numerous times!

You also forgot to mention your refusal to join Bobbys suggestion, something you're suggesting I am dodgy for despite clearly going along with it AND suggesting we do it in the first place

I moved my vote on request. I put it on you who was not at risk. You was voting for yourself so switching to me would have the scores remain the same as before my switch. Rather than wasting my vote, I it it on you so that there was a potion to include a fourth should we chose to. I voted well before Valley and I said he was dodgy early in day two but somehow, I've aligned myself with him. Check back and you'll see he tagged on to me if anything!

 

@Gerrez so why do you think Valley was trying to mess up the coinflip?

The alternative is that @Mikey is mafia?

And what is the logic behind me being SK? Since when would an SK get so involved with lynch votes?

I considered Mikey could be mafia too but then looked back and noticed Valley voted for him to put him in the coinflip night 1 so it would be unlikely. But then we've all seen how random Valley's votes can be.

Valley seemed intent on ****ing about with the coinflip which is the main reason is suspect Gerrez

The only other possibility is it was just plain very stupid play by Valley, which is consistent with his suicide, but seems unnecessary for mafia to start making weird plays with nothing at stake

 

Acs already dead and was conbfirmed as army private.

 

I think I recall from my semi drunken state where the theory about Gerrez being a zombie comes from. On reflection i tbink it js majorly flawed and could be a big reveal.

Gerrez please explain the theory. Right now i have you nailed as mafia until you explain this.

 

The army is part of the town, he was cleared by his death, leaving Mikey and/or Gerrez the target of Valley's meddling, and I trust Mikey more than Gerrez

 

I think we should all consider today and what the implications are.

There are hard facts we do have

1. Mafia have 3 left
2. two good guys recruited
3. two good guys investigated
4. there is an active roaming zombie and that is IBWT
5. Tobes is dead and was town and was bitten but hitman killed him with head shot.
6. the serial killer is infected.
7. there is another infected as well
8. the super zombie can no longer influence anyone
9. the mafia could not not have robbed so they are out of bullets tomorrow
10 a new thief is in play but is 50% effective
11. the papers were not hacked.
12. the papers don't tell us anything clearly, i can't figure it. the code is confusing. if the first paper was saying who hitman was think baout coming out and telling us.

Everyone should consider these facts when they are thinking today

• IBWT is roaming zombie so he can bite and make more.. if he dies all ombie infections go. this is a vital town win.

• If gerrez is mafia what do we get from killing him? I think the mafia have no bullets therefore he can do nothing today. the very worst that we will have happen is he goes and steals bullets or cash and buys one for hitman. If he is infected by ibwt then he can rise if we lynch. therefore his lynch is highly dangerous. why did ibwt finger him... good or bad.

• If astro is the serial killer he is 100% infected. therefore lynching is no good. Think about it. if he were bitten night one he might have wanted to be in that lynch last night. we cannot know. We also know it could be a lie too. however we have to think ibwt fingered him for something good or bad. Therefore if he is left alone he might be SK and kill.

• if someone out there has info.... journalist stop being bloody coy. If you got no info at all fine but i presume you've two innocents on a list so far. 50% chance of a hack tonight. @bobby you should have one piece of info from your detective.

 

Just to clarify I did not vote Gerrez, I was just bolding for emphasis, sorry for the confusion, will keep an eye on that in future.
So at this stage I have voted for no one yet.
