That Rafferty foul was outside the box, wasn't it? Nothing from the BBC commentary team about it, but it looked outside to me.
It looked outside to me as well but it was close. Clear foul though, hopefully they show a couple more replays of it. Edit. They are saying it was outside the box on replay and the ref got it wrong.
Definitely outside the box, the player fell inside the box but the foul occured outside of it. Either way, it's going to be difficult for England to win this, Japan look decent.
Japan were always the better team but it's not over. The announcer said you all have given up at least one goal every single game and have found ways to win so it isn't like they haven't been in this position before.
I must admit to not knowing a great deal about women's football, but would England getting to the final be a bit of an upset?
It's like the U.S. men getting to the final type of upset. You all were not expected to get past the previous round and have never been to the semis before.
