    I currently have 3 converging over my village as I speak...spectacular it is...dogs cacking it the fanny

    there is that much lightening going off that if I was an epileptic I would be having a fit...

    Further north we've had two corking storms today.

    Hailstones the size of, well, big hailstones really, have just been bouncing off our extension roof.


    Dog taking it in his stride, 'cos he's one laid back ****er.


    Laid on the sofa staring at the wife's fudge.



    As she slowly chomps on it.

    just north of Bolton...the thunder is continuous and there are several lightening bolts at the same time...but no rain yet

    30 years of Yoga Chazz, it's astonishing.

    Dead handy for painting behind the bath, unblocking the main drain, removing the gearbox on a early 90s Volvo 340, cleaning round the U-bend, plumbing in the dishwasher etc, etc.


    20 years time I reckon that she'll have paid back the value of my initial investment.

    "D'ya fancy Romeo's Satdee? I'm paying."


    It's taken a long time but I'm hoping to eventually break even.

    When I know my missus is due back I either go in the back garden (so I can't tell she is back) or go in the shower for the same reason <party>

    Very true and i live in the moors so it is even worse however when it isn't raining its a great place to live

    I love watching thunderstorms. Nothing better than sitting on the patio watching a storm roll in. Last time we had one you could hear it coming because of all the hail on the roofs getting closer and closer.

    for those that are interested (not many I assume) look at the bbc website for thunderstorms and you will see what I saw last night under Blackburn/Manchester
