Breaking news that Pearson has been sacked by Leicester and I can only assume that the antics of his idiot son has something to do with it. ( Pratt ) See Gus Hiddinck is now available,

Was always on the cards after getting sacked and being reinstated last season.
The club were more than likely just waiting for an excuse and his son conveniently stepped up.

Timing crap really, if only they'd sacked him at the end of last season, we could have got him instead of SM.
    A shame, a real shame

I hope you are joking. He would be like the Rolls Royce version of Carver. Much rather have a manager with experience in PL,Europe and some trophies on his CV. Leicester have some serious backers who I suspect are looking to push on and don't think they thought Pearson could take them any further. He joins Adkins and Hughton as managers who were deemed good enough to get a relatively strong team out of The Championship but not much more. It's a pity because they then become stuck with this label but they haven't really done much since to suggest it wasn't the correct move.

The owner is clearly a spot-billed pelican.

Despite the late season comeback, I completely understand this decision, and the timing is probably right. They couldn't have sacked him so early after the season right after he kept them up after that great run. They needed time for things to calm down and people to get rational again.

They don't want to turn out like Wigan, hanging around relegation zones and needed amazing runs to keep them up late season.

Bit ****, Pearson seems to have done a good job wherever he's been, and to be sacked in the way he has is a disservice to him. He'd be well within his rights to take it further.

Let's be honest, with the squad he had, he did very well.

Sacking by telephone seems to be catching on in the football world.

More disrespect from wealthy owners who really couldn't give a f*** or more likely, don't have the balls to do it Face to Face.
