he is favourite on skybet at the moment!! Leicester fans are not happy http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/101328-next-leicester-city-manager-odds/page-12 Steve Cotterill 2/1 Neil Lennon 3/1 Sam Allardyce 6/1 Guus Hiddink 6/1 Esteban Cambiasso 6/1 David Moyes 10/1 Roberto Di Matteo 12/1 Sean Dyche 14/1 Michael Laudrup 16/1 Martin O'Neill 16/1 Jurgen Klopp 16/1 Harry Redknapp 20/1 Karl Robinson 20/1 Paul Lambert 20/1 Aitor Karanka 20/1 Paul Dickov 22/1 Gareth Southgate 22/1 Patrick Vieira 25/1 Steve Walsh 25/1 Simon Grayson 25/1 Gus Poyet 25/1 Craig Shakespeare 25/1 Mark Sampson 40/1 Gary Lineker 40/1 John Carver 50/1 Nigel Pearson 50/1
Allardyce would suit them just fine. And why is Nigel Pearson at 50/1 as its his sacking that has lead to the vacancy ??!!!!!
Cotts would be a fool to leave - he is in an ideal position here where he can build something. He would be fired within 2 months in the prem.....
no chance would he leave a club on the rise, new stadium, billionaire backer in steve lansdown,a tilt at the prem next season. The foxes don't even rate him, christ they did not see the way we played last year,he ain't going nowwhere
"Cotterill fell from 33/1 to 2/1 today. No ****ing way. If he comes, I'm genuinely going to support Forest. " He's Leicester till he dies then!
Leicester City finished strongly last year, and have a good squad to continue to build from. If he was offered the job he'd be a fool to not take it.
HA HA HA HA that's what I thought also SC BOUND TO BE FAVOURITE as he is the only one to have done anything in the past year !
here he is part of a plan, anywhere else he is taking on the remnants good ! or bad! of someone elses vision... last 2 month's? no about Christmas, the prem is a fortress above the bottom 5 this year....
Big Sam says he wants a short break from football, so I doubt he'd take the Leicester City job. Whether he was telling the truth or not remains to be seen. With that being said, I think you're all forgetting about wheelin' dealin' Harry Redknapp. Leicester have money, and there's plenty of excuses for him to not succeed should be get found out again.
IF Cotterill gets offered the LCFC job he will take it. No doubt about it. WTF stay here on a tenth of the salary and turn down the chance to manage in the Prem. And his mate Harry as Director of Football there and Cotterill as manager isn't a bad shout. For what it's worth I think Lennon will get the job.
Leicester are already in the prem, have rich owners and already have a stadium built. Plus as to their fans not wanting him? Its a bit like you didn't rate him when he joined us. As Red Print says if they want him he will go, with the salary they will offer the transfer funds and already tipped for relegatio.
Yep I agree with some here, if Leicester are serious and want Cotts, he'll be off. He'd be a fool not to. It can go one of 2 ways for him, he'll be a flop and get sacked or he might end up making it work and establish himself as a prem manager, which then opens the door to a bigger prem team or the possibility of managing a big team abroad. I wouldn't stand in his way if he chose to leave and he'd go with my blessing! Only trouble would be replacing him as he's the "dad" of this group, so a new manager with new ideas could be a disaster and ruin everything we've built..... Having said all that though, I don't think Leicester will make a move for Cotts. Redknapp or Allardyce seem the obvious ones.
Anyone who has Arry or Big Sam as their leading managerial candidates better look after their pocket books and be prepared for lousy football followed by some kind of disaster.
We have approached Guus Hiddink now. 10 years ago Steve Cotterill was a coach here so I think thats where the link it from Im surprised he claimed so high with the bookies, just a money grabber for them probably. I don't think Cotterill is a big enough name for the owners . I think its more likely we would give the job to Cambiasso then Cotterill No disrespect to you buts its a big jump from storming League 1 to managing in the Premier League. After what happened at Forest Cotterill would have been mad to come anyway, he should of learnt his lesson in once he found a club where it works, stick with with it All the best for next season lads
