    Evening chappies!

    Following on from today's successful Match Thread - great work Chris! You probably noticed the amount of guests we had - up to around 30 I noticed!

    Whilst I am happy with the growth of our board (and site) - how do you think we can improve in order to get more of these peeping toms into full-time posters?

    I have re-stuck the photo shop album due to it's massive success previously, but what more can be done?

    We need to grab these people and keep them here!

    To be fair - i think our board is doing well for numbers and new people do tend to come regularly.

    Perhaps designing a more decorative and interesting welcome board may be a good start.

    I would recommend but my computer skills are stuck in the 90's.


    P.S. If any newcomers are reading this then we have a great mod team, probably the best on not606 to be honest <ok>

    Keep producing the good articles that we have been is a good start!

    I think KPR's idea about having different people doing match summary articles is a good idea. It would be able to attract budding journalists and that could get people in.

    A fair point, but at this stage the site isn't anywhere near the mess that was 606. We will have to address popularity problems when they arise.

    I think the main difference is that people respect and chat with the mods on not606.

    Luvgonzo - i'm not sure that would help at this stage. We don't want to come across as snoby - I wouldn't join a site who wanted a reference. I would tell them to get stuffed to be honest!

    yes welcome guests and it was 40 guests on here today at half time. seen it with my own eyes so i did.
