Wood has officially signed and it looks like we are signing another young talent initally on loan but with a view to a permanent signing at the end of season his name is Brandon Barker 19 a very fast winger who scores GOALS
Looks like we are going in the right direction signing young talent

Cannot for one second believe we would have a permanent deal in place for Baker. We would merely be developing Man City's player, not that I would be against taking advantage of that but we wouldn't be signing him after the season loan imo.

I mentioned Barker at the weekend Josh, some journalist recommended him along with Alvaro Pereira, he also reported that Barker only has one year left on his contract. I can't see City allowing it to expire though?

Yea I would take both Pereira and Baker. Pereira especially but that seems less likely to me.

I can't imagine Citeh letting Baker's contract run down if he really was their youth player of the season or whatever especially with all them trying to buy every single young promising english player at the moment. Even if his contract did run down though, and we did somehow manage to sign him up then it'd still go to tribunal for a fee anyone could have a guess on

Watched video of Barker explosive left winger and head on his shoulders I would think that we are still after
Murphy swap for Sharpe plus cash
Ajose sold if we can get any takers otherwise another loan
Wootton maybe going to Rotherham for a fee
Bianchi back to Italy when fit
    Byram still think Sunderland

Perhaps we could swap him for Morison?

Ajose wouldn't be top of my list of strikers to get rid of, at least he has pace and the ability to play wide. A year older and he could be better. Would prefer to get rid of Morison and Sharp first.

    Happy for Wootton to go

Bianchi turned down an offer to Italy to stay and help the fight for promotion. Not a bad squad player to have imo. if he is adamant on staying, at least he wants to be here.

I think most teams will not be prepared to pay the required fee for Byram and think they'll be able to get him cheaper not knowing Cellino will probably hold out for 10m or whatever ridiculously high number he has in his head. Everton seem front runners at the moment but can only see that happening if coleman leaves for scum which they seem to want to keep him. He also said in an interview recently he wants to stay to help leeds get promotion. Another that seems to want to be here.

Well Josh now that Clyne has gone to Liverpool I expect Saints to up the ante on Byram and with 3 clubs wanting him I wouldn't be surprised if he went for £8m
Ajose no matter how you look at it will never make it at ER that's my opinion .I told this to Glory after the Boro game and the reason why now the best this boy can hope for is a league below us
Wootton I feel will be also sold and will be replaced by the boy from Chesterfield I won't even attempt to spell his name so that I won't offend anyone I have never been happy with his performances as a right back

I mostly agree with you there Josh,

Wooton, Sharp and Morison to leave.

Ajose, while not being a bad player did trail off while on loan at Crewe. He was on boil to begin with then just simmered, something we can't really afford this season, but he has his opportunity like everyone else and if he turns out to be a big asset and creates a lot of impact on wing, then the team will greatly benefit, but that's up to Ajose himself.

I've always been of the opinion that players play with enthusiasm, adrenalin and the will to impress at the beginning, then many return to the fold; we saw that with Murphy last season, a couple of good games with a couple of goals and then he came back to the fold, Ajose did same at Crewe.

It's going to be interesting to see how Bamba performs now he's signed a contract and moves into his 2nd season. He's a hot and cold player and contracts can bring about complacency.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that some who didn't get much of a chance last season under Redders will rise to top under Rosler. 4-3-3 is totally different to 4-4-2 or the 4-5-0 formation Redders had us playing last season. Players, with the exception of the keeper and back four are going to need to adapt to a different tactical, and somewhat faster formation. .

If you mean Sloth I agree but I feel we are still short on wide boys with pace and I am sure Rosler feels the same way has Ajose suddenly improved that much I very much doubt it but lets give him the benefit of the doubt.Lets see him in pre season friendly

Brandon Barker had our under 21s right back on toast in the first half of the Youth Cup semi-final.
