Just seen my first bit of this WWC. Last bit of the 2nd half France and Germany, plus 30, plus penalties, plus( ?) the result was what Lineker said. But it was surprisingly robust and the few minutes I saw of the USA China was decent quality.
 
Anyone watching the France v Germany match can hardly complain about poor quality. A truly great match. They would certainly give Rangers a run for their money.
 
Phew, what a tough match for England? Hung on grimly though, and, can't believe it, made it to the semi-finals! As usual, gave away a really silly goal, every game we let a goal in, nevermind. A big well-done to the team and coach Mark Sampson <applause>.

Would rather watch the U21's this summer. Why aren't they on the telly?
Cannot get excited about this women's football in all honesty. The equivalent would watching a bunch of blokey blokes doing synchronised swimming!
 
The highest court in the United States just legalized same-sex marriages. Some of the American players may be "distracted" for the next match.
I'm just saying...
