I am due to go there in 2 weeks, just cant take my family there.

 

I`m off for another wander around France soon, a good few weeks traveling around and just as much chance of being in the wrong place at the wrong time there as here ! Iife is a risk and if scum bag terrorists stop you living it to the full then they win !

I'm sorry to hear that but I understand your decision.Have you been there before?
I have travelled north Africa quite a bit through work and pleasure.The people are friendly,funny and just want to meet people of other countries.Of course they are out to make as much as they can out of people.That applies in every country in the world.
Would it happen again in Tunisia?I'd say no,they made their hit and are on course to achieve what they set out to do.
If they can stop tourism,which is what the people depend on then they stop the income of the people.This makes it easier to recruit with the lure of money,food for the families.
I hope you and your family enjoy your holiday wherever you decide to go.May I suggest Croatia,fabulous.I'm going there (again) in 2 weeks time.

 

I Have been all over the world many times and i love travelling but you cant beat two weeks in a caravan down the gower.....Cardiff people can stick with trecco bay or two weeks in Splott.....

 

not sure I could cope with two weeks in a caravan down the gower tbh......a pretty place yes but two weeks....that's pushing it for me.

 

If the weather was like this for the 2 weeks you cant beat the Gower

 

It didn't happen in Blackpill though Dai, it did happen in a hotel I am going to. If it was just myself then I probably would go, I cant take my wife and son, it would not be a holiday, I would be spending all my time scouring the pool and the beach and I certainly don't want to be on a beach being patrolled by armed guards.

 

you be fine. the chances it will happen again there is the same chance it could happen at Blackpill or anywhere else.....I ts no good fretting about it or you wont go anywhere.....

 

I will go elsewhere, but I wont go to Tunisia, it is riddled with problems and should have had more sense than to book it in the first place. My bad there.

 

2wks in the gower...........even the weather doesn't warm my cockles with the prospect of two whole weeks there tho......the only place ive been where I wasn't ready 2 come back was florida.........purely for gluttony reasons tho

 

try and avoid most muslim countries dude.......I went 2 crete instead of my Egyptian holiday the time it first kicked off with its revolution, yes the travel advisors still said it was ok but it isn't really worth the risk, not when you have young uns with you.

 

Great beaches, good fishing, good pubs n grub, BBQ on some tidy camp sites and pools, plus great walks and water sports and lots more. Bonus when the sun shines. 2 Weeks not enough for me so im down there throughout the year .

I believe it's Gower not The Gower
