Signed... Monk has not really had a day off yet as he has been working hard persuading his targets to join. He really needs a break for some quality time with his family and to recharge his batteries now. I was told he was a workaholic and that's no good as he will burn himself out, chill out for a week or two now monk as the club will still be there following your instructions when you return.....

 

So we'd have two strikers, Ayew as a backup and hopefully someone from the U21s waiting in the wings. Who from the U21s will fill this spot?

 

Not excited by this one compared to what else we have signed. Poor goal scoring record and would have preferred something a little better, even if he is no. 2 to Gomis. Lets hope he proves me wrong. A little underwhelmed after some of the strikers we had been linked to.

Not sure about this guy, just don't know much about him. He is a Portuguese international so he can't be as bad as Schekter or Alvarez, surely not.

Well i never go on any players record at another club and would rather go on what he can do and how he plays his football on the pitch. Take Jase the ace for an example....He fitted in with us and would score goals but the minute Martinez took him to wigan he could not hit a barn door with a shovel. Why was there such a change? well they may have had Martinez as manager but the players jase had to work with could not play the way jase was use too and the only one who understood him was Gomez and poor jase was a flop at wigan.....

 

Hmm not to sure about this signing. His goal scoring record isn't exactly showing him to be the most prolific, even in a poorer league.

Don't think you can really use the Bony and Michu comparison either as Michu was La Liga's highest scoring midfielder when we signed him and Bony had just bagged 30 goals in 31 games. Both quite blatantly doing the business in their respective leagues.

I'm hoping he will prove me wrong but with him being 27 aswell I don't really see him improving drastically to fit into what we need.
