One cost shed loads though! Seems to me as if Cabella gets away with all sorts of ****e and Haidara gets slated! There were some games when the only crosses of the ball was from Haidara!

At the moment I am not fully rating Cabella at all - fingers crossed he has the bottle to stick it out and improve himself in this league as I think he can become good. But then again I think the same of Haidara.

Think it's irrespective, actually. I reckon Cabella will be gone. GFN are very reliable. French players seem to get their head turned very easily (Debuchy, Cabaye) and there's no way he'd fancy another year's battering in the PL above replacing Payet at Marseille.

Then he needs to be sold and not loaned out unless it is to a German club!

What does he do for him?! Tomorrow is a key day - the players go back. The same shower that left the last season.

Howay, fella - give us a tinchy bit more and I promise I'll get your name up in Twitter lights....

Of course tomorrow is a key day. Sammy's contract runs out in less than 4 hours, so it's imperative Charnley frees him from JPFs dungeon otherwise we'll lose one of the most underated talents the Club has had in generations.

This is bollocks. Technically, they are worlds apart. Cabella needs a lot of work. He really needs to step up and he was awful last season. However on a technical level, he looks the business.

Haidara has been here how long now? 3 Seasons? His technical level is still utter gash.

    Whatever will happen will happen.
Some might say he's a bit of a quitter (I do) but he's not staggered out of clubs trying to act the big rock and roll star for the papparazi.
Off the pitch he's conducted himself well.
Not all players can say that.

Your assessment here is bollocks! Cabella is a techincal player, Haidara isn't! Cabella needs a lot of work as does Haidara! So why is one more different?
Haidara suffered a serious injury and was subjected to full on ****e from Pardew etc! Cabella has survived just the one! But as usual it is one rule for one player another rule for a flair player!

They are ALL technical players to a certain degree at PL level. My opinion is that Haidara is well below the basic technical level required for PL football. The cold hard facts are that that Haidara in nearly every game he plays, fails to control a football and plays idiotic passes. This is not a myth, I have watched it happen game on game. Cabella as I say has had one season and struggled massively with the league. If after another 12 months we are sat here saying the same thing, I wouldn't want to continue with him either. However he has shown in flashes there is ability there and he has the technical skills to cope with the league. Physically and producing those skills under pressure is what he needs to show.

I was happy after season one to give Haidara a chance. He was 20/21. He'll be 23 in December and has not progressed at all.

The difference is simple, one looks like he has something worth pursuing. The other doesn't. Also as I say their basic technical level is poles apart. Haidara is quick, he whips in the odd decent cross. I struggle to think of much else he has going for him.
