So right now it's prob time to do maths as frankly there's little to speak of.

5 bad guys out of 18 as we know Bobby is innocent. I know I am innocent too same as everyone will say but let's keep it simple.

Random chance of hitting one in lynch is 5/18

On the other hand chance of innocent getting lynched is 13/18

A 3 way with all innocent = 13/18×13/17÷13/16 =44%

So that's basically gambling. A simple throw up 3 strategy in this case is not really close to sure pressuring anyone. A 4 way then is better but who panics day one vim a 4 way?

Does anyone agree/disagree with this?

In the last 2 games that I've taken part in, the town discussed this at length and decided that the shadows was probably the best place to start looking, but this strategy failed in the last game, as the mafia were on full show throughout.

At this early stage it's impossible to get a read and conclude anything really, it's pure guesswork and the odds on us lynching one of our own are massively against.

 

I know hard to do, but what are the odds if we put everyone up with 1 lynch each?

wondering if technically for the first round that actually gives us more chance of lynching a baddie rather than 3/4/5 random names?

 

I'd imagine within an hour or so valley will have told us all his role and so we might have some info to go on

 

So someone dies completely at random and we have a 5/18 chance as opposed to potentially a 0/3 or 4 chance if we select the wrong initial group?

Sounds sensible to me, as at least we'll have a %age chance of a take down

 

putting everyone up does make sense. Anyone want to argue against? The odds are still very much with lynching town. But at least there's a small chance of catching a bad guy.

I'm happy to go with the one vote each strategy. My only concerns are that it relies on everyone participating and everyone agreeing with and sticking to the strategy.

I will be working all afternoon but will be on later before nightfall to cast vote.
