Then I'd compare his experience to Rene Muelensteen and Pako, and make an informed decision based on experience AS an assistant manager and experience at the top level.
But if everyone is happy with an assistant manager who not managed or had any dealings at the top level, then fair enough. This is a key position .
By the by his actual managerial record is 6 years at bournemouth, 5 at doncaster then briefly at crawley before going straight to forest Now by the by he got promotion at bournemouth.. promotion at doncaster. Won the paint trophy such as it is there too. Forest was not good for him but neither has it been good for a lot. He got the sack there.he was coach there then hired to crawley and was approached by forest immediately to cone back as manager... Bristol city were rock bottom and he didn't avoid relegation. That didn't work out either. It's hardly total abject failure here. He's taken on a couple of tough jobs and has actually 15 years management experience and 5 years as coach before that at bournemouth. I cant fibd info on his formal coaching qualifications yet but I'm sure it will come out some time.
Again.. you've jumped to conclusions. Your gut might be right but surely at least gather the Info before going off. Besides when rodgers goes he will be cheap to sack
Appreciate the balanced argument but the guy is a loser and his CV screams loser. No top flight experience.
So? If he's done his pro licence then he's qualified. Inglethorpe has zero top level experience. Under age at spurs doesn't count.
Because you have hired him. Everyone needs their big break at some point if they are to prove themselves.
Inglethorpe had very good experience at Spurs and made their youth team one of the best, before taking up a similar role at LFC.
Not top level experience though... this guy had to manage two clubs cover ten years on a shoe string so you think he never developed anyone?
And you have a good point - Inglethorpe replaced Borrell who was world renowned. We need to get top quality coaches at this club.
I'm enjoying reading this far more than I should be Anyone else think it would be hilarious if everyone but Firmino succeeded this coming season?
