Morning all, already hot, and a long day of furniture moving ahead of me. At least when it is hot it is not humid which makes a huge difference.
I would loved to have seen some of these bands, especially Santana. I probably couldn't have afforded the entrance fee and my car would not have reached Bath from Hemel Hempstead at the time!!
Injured my neck playing softball yesterday and am now signed off work until Thursday. A former colleague of mine took part in the triathlon yesterday at the Island Games and came 7th, with Jersey winning the team gold. I wonder how many of those who finished behind him know that they were beaten by a 46 year old. To put that in perspective in terms of competitive triathlons, he's almost 20 years older than the Brownlee brothers.
Left the house at 9.10 am, returned home at 10.20 pm with the temperature still 28°C. Moved all the big furniture today with the afternoon temperature 35°C. Small items tomorrow and put the beds back together that I took apart today. Tonight I feel middle aged.
Fast forward 45 years and what do we get? Kanye West murdering Bohemian Rhapsody... an unspeakable crime against music of any genre...
Sunny day in Jersey but on a day like to today, and I've heard that it's going to get to 28°C, with it rising to 32°C tomorrow and I'm signed off sick.
Today will be a second longer and is the 25th time a leap second has been added to the calendar. Atomic clocks are apparently more accurate than the rotation of the earth. 23:59:59

Morning all, a bit of cloud cover here and some breeze at last. 28°C when I returned home at midnight, but the cloud is likely to disappear this afternoon and back up to 35°C. I expect it will end with storms, but no sign of them here for the next week.
