Yes!!!!!!! Fantastic news! Even the haters are biting their lips because there is nothing bad to say about this signing, we have signed a well and truly elite world glass GK in a position we badly needed.
Congrats, guys, you have a ****ing great goalkeeper there. Wasn't his fault we got Courtois, and I obviously wouldn't have liked him to Arsenal but I wouldn't have wanted CFC to **** him about and end the relationship on a bad note after all he has done for us. Don't listen to the haters anyway, bottom line is, for whatever reason, you have signed a World Class goalkeeper and he is a big improvement on what you had....so I will always cheer for Petr, class player and class individual!

I am stunned that Chelsea sold to us, and I don't know why they did (its not because Jose doesn't rate Aresnal as a title challenger because I think Jose does rate out chances) as it is an area we have lacked quality in and now we have it ! I presume his goalie coach will also join and that will improve Chezny. are u going to Shield game ?

The way i see it if he has gone to Arsenal its cos he wanted to stay in London. CFC would probably have wanted him to go abroad and i doubt there would have been a shortage of offers. Ending his tenure on a sour note would have been a vrying shame. If he had been a lesser player or maybe an outfield player i am not sure it would have happened. But to tell him after 11 years service and numerous trophies that he has to go abroad would have been reprehensible tbh
Thanks mate. What do you think was the story with Jose and Roman on this ? Reports were that they had both agreed to let Cech join the club of his choice, but that Mourinho didn't want to sell to Arsenal, but was overruled by Abramovich. Class keeper, and this will really strengthen us
I gotta say in this I think Chelsea acted really well. Obviously they didn't want it to happen, but respected Cech's wish over their desire for him to go abroad. Which is rare these days, particularly for mourinho.
I have to say; we give Chelsea a lot of criticism for the way they do things, but we need to give credit where credit is due. It's not often an owner of a club would allow one of their players to join a rival when the move would significantly strengthen them. Abramovich has a very shady past, but it was nice of him to actually take Cech's feelings into consideration when Chelsea gave him permission to leave. Fair play to them, to be honest.

We're over the moon to sign Cech, one of the best there is. Reports were that he had a gentlemen's agreement with Mourinho and Abramovich to sign for whoever he wanted, but I still can't quite believe that Jose let him go to Arsenal.
