If it was me I would just see Liverpool as a club that is going no where. They will be Lucky if they achieve a top 6 position this season.
It's makes you wonder specially after his comments when Lallana and Lambert left. Roy said that it would good for them and England if they played for Liverpool... Purely for Roy I would bet he would like every England player playing at a higher level..
It just seems strange given that so many young English players have had their careers ruined by moving to big clubs. Rodwell, Sinclair, Wright-Phillips, Bridge, to name but a few. Surely you would think there is someone in the England set-up who acknowledges this.
