Got to feel sorry for the locals, trying to make a living and that they need the tourism to survive. They have a 20% unemployment rate there and with this atrocity they will defiantly struggle for certainly this year and probably next. We normally go twice a year...........not anymore.

Wasnt it a bit difficult for the kids having to work it out in feet, even if they had an idea what length the pier might be ?
Even wrong at quarter of a mile...nearer to half. Would be a very short pier in metres as we discussed yesterday
