Nice guy and all but if anyone can make a convincing argument for him staying based on his on field performances over the last two years I'd like to hear it.
He's a much, much better defender than Elmo and also offered cover at LB and CB in a 3 at the back. We now have no fit, recognised right backs
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/New-...tract-summer/story-26090959-detail/story.html here's Brucie confirming that no deals to be offered to Rosie, Quinn and Junior before the end of season - then at the end of the season we hear that he gave a deal to Junior months before - Brucie - found out - lying ****
We rarely play with conventional full backs, so essentially your saying his only use is as a utility defender, in which case he deserves a better end to his career than warming the bench for us in the championship.
Listen bitches, if he wanted to be here, he would still be in the black and amber. "he was close to signing a new contract"... but he never did he? he should have had it signed ages ago, I reckon he was given bad advice by his agent, "hold out for a little longer, try and get more money" and AA wasn't gonna be held to ransom! I dont blame AA for telling him to sling his hook - no player is bigger than the club.
He hasn't reached the end of his shelf life and the odds are on him becoming a very good manager, but not for us. I presume Ehab told you he'd signed Liam's contract because it required two signatures to be valid.
huh? Im not ITK, I don't even pretend that I am. IF everyone had THEIR way, the team'd never change, we'd STILL have chillo playing with his zimmer frame. point is, if you dont want the team to stagnate - things have to change. HE NEVER SIGNED FOR A BPL TEAM, DID HE? SO HE CAN'T BE THAT ****ING GOOD!
If we'd started playing four at the back, as we should have done, then he'd have been in the starting XI and we might still be in the Premier League(not just because Rosie was playing obviously).
We'd probably have scored less goals with a flat back four and no wing backs, so chances are we'd have gone down anyway.
All just speculation now, but we often looked more dangerous when we swtched to a back four, we just did it far too late in games and often when we were already on the back foot.
Don't rate Elmo as a full- back at all. I am at a loss to understand when it was he had an opportunity to show his defensive qualities, as he was played as a wing- back and spent most of his time galloping up and down the wing.
As a full-back, Rosenior is far better than Elmo. Elmo's defensive game has come on leaps and bounds, but he's still nowhere near the defender Rosenior is.
That's because he's not thinking about being a player. His career as a player is nearly finished. His role off the pitch is why Brighton have given him a three year contract.
