They are not really commentators though, that bunch are more analysis material. Townsend is rank,Owen is worse. Carra and Ratboy are the better ones. As for commentators........I've always really disliked Motson .........he's just poor
Owen is boring, really Boring Townsend is England biased, whenever any English team is playing against a foreign they're the greatest. Carlisle thinks he's really smart cause he went on Countdown. Smith, should never be allowed to do an Arsenal match P. Neville is crap. BBC thought they would get a copy his brother, but just like in their football the younger doesn't match up Don't mind Quinn but he's better in the studio as is Souness.

Michael Owen isn't as bad as he once was. He is bearable now. I think its between Clarke Carlisle, who comes across as being really smug and talks too slowly, and Robbie Savage who is just crap.
Did wonder why savage wasn't even on the list, he is an utter imbecile and reminds of neil from the inbetweeners.
The partnership of Andy Townsend and Clive Tyldsley is the worst for me. I cant express in words how much I hate listening to them on ITV.
He is terrible because he tries far too hard to be a young Andy Gray but I'd rather listen to his bullshit than P. Neville or Savage. Now that Savage has been brought into the discussion I have to say he's the worst of the lot. Even my 9 year old said he was a **** commentator.

Henry's terrible and I have to turn the sound off when Colin Murray starts talking his ****e. Alan Smith has a dull sounding voice but he is knowledgeable. Alan Green is an uber ****.
