Yes we need lots more people. The population is actually too low rather than too high. What's needed is for everyone to accept that, shut up about inequality and get building the new infrastructure necessary to accommodate, and dare I say it welcome, our new arrivals. They'll be paying your pension after all. One other thing - people who moan about it only have themselves to blame - if they'd been a bit more attractive to the opposite sex and had loads of children we wouldn't have the ageing population and attendant problems that brings with it now.
