The journalist only says "probably". Like many were thinking he "probably wouldn't" sign for us last year. There's no quote from Cambiasso to parse in that article.
Even with Cambiasso, centre midfield is our weakest area. King scored a couple of vital goals at the end but him, Drinky and Hammond are solid at best and James is out for a considerable time. I certainly hope he stays but we still need further strengthening in this area.
Bidding for N'Zonzi certainly demonstrates our intent in this position, looks like the French guy is joining Marseille though and I think the former will want to join a larger club. Hopefully we're trying to sign some quality Cambiasso can play alongside, not as a replacement.
Cambiasso and Ulloa are best buds and they are keeping their fitness up, no matter what i want it to think, it doesn't mean he'll be here next year.
Im not jumping to any conclusion. All the picture proves is he is in Leicester and still in contact with our players which is a good sign
