He wants to be with Lallana, Lovren, Lambert. It's kind of crazy how many of our players have gone there.
Agree at first it seemed like we'd backed down a bit but for the sake of a couple of mil I would prefer it this way!
Hardly any one left from the Cortese era. Morgan to Arsenal, Wanyama haven't a clue and Jay probably Spurs after he has proved himself.
Fine by me. As you say, we're better off without them if they want to move on, and as long as they're replaced with equally good or better, we won't miss them.
did he really say "I want champions ........... actually it doesn't matter. Go Clyde (I like the earlier typo) & join the other twats at Scumhampton. Let's move on SFC.
There is a chance that this could just be a clever ploy. Leak to the media that we want a quick resolution and we are likely to lower our valuation and accept Liverpool's offer in the hope that United come back in for him with a panic bid, closer to £15m.
Clyne can **** right off. After expressing champions league, and ending up at Liverpool, really hope he flops there.
Are we really gonna hate every single player who leaves? Cos we have a pretty high turnover so I'm not sure it's really worth it. Life's too short - save it for the ones who really deserve it.
Later Clyne, thanks for the memories and that...now you can go enjoy the lofty heights of the Europa League that a club like ours could never hope to......oh wait. Just one thought in regard to the will he/won't he. Maybe he was just keeping his options open. I'm sure he saw that the likes of Lovren and Lallana could never come back after the way they carried on so i'm thinking he was being smart, kept quiet so that if no other club made him an offer he liked he could just as easily re-sign and blame the delay on a change of agent.
As usual, I only want players at Saints who are happy to be here - if Clyne is no longer happy here then he should leave. We will continue on
