1. Harry Kane will prove beyond doubt to be the definition of a "One Season Wonder" 2. GB to win a sprint medal at Rio 2016 3. David Luiz to appear in Fifa's Team of the Year 2016 yet again.
You've been listening to Adam Blackmore too closely. He reckoned Ralph Krueger wouldn't be satisfied with that either.
Don't think i've heard Adam Blackmore since West Ham away - Rons first win I simply don't see how we can have a run in Europa and maintain league position, bigger squads have struggled.
Incidentally, about Tika-Taka and the Spanish League. I have controversially expressed my doubts as to the lack of competitiveness in La Liga and, as usual, Gary Lineker has shone some light upon it. He says the reason why the same 2 or 3 teams dominate is because every team plays the same way and the richest 2 or 3 generally play it better than everyone else. They don't really play in any other way, hence there are no real surprises. I'll post the 14/15 season review video once again where he talks about it:
OK, wait until you get home. The video is actually worth spending a little time off here with a cup of coffee.
!. Neymar although good is vastly overrated. He is made to look better than he is due to Barca's midfield and the donkeywork pf Suarez and of course playing with Messi, He is a showpony of the highest order. 2. Rafael Benitez is one of the best managers in the world. His record is often overlooked and I think he will be a big success for Real Madrid. His CL record with Liverpool was astounding, broke the Madrid/Barca duopoly for a short time with Valencia where he won the UEFA cup twice I think too. Call his tactics whatever you want but he has proven that they get results, 3. Luke Shaw has the potential and ability to be England and United's number 1 left back for 10+ years and be the best left back in the world. I hope it work out for him at United and it;s totally up to him if he makes the grade.
Agree with 2 & 3 but not with 1 - You only have to look at his international record to see how good he is and this is a young lad carrying his whole countrys expectations.
1. Tories will become the most honest Government ever seen. 2. Premiership clubs will freeze the price of tickets for 2 seasons. 3. David Beckham will be the next England football manager.
Just been to the BBC website and lo and behold!! Modernisation of the Network Rail is being slowed down and delayed!! So much for No 1 then!!
They knew before the election that they would need to slow down the process but decided to keep quiet about it! Still better not dwell too much on something that is really apolitical than political as blame can be apportioned in many directions, as we are witnessing over the Olympic Stadium where it is fair to be critical of both Labour, Coalition and Tory Governments who oversaw and continue to oversee the whole issue.
Ah, no wonder I didn't hear about it. It's often said that economies grow despite governments. Never is it more truely said than of the Tories.
1. Southampton will get to q/f of the EL but just scrape into top 10 of league 2. Ireland will againflatter to deceive at RWC 3. John Delaney will still be in charge of Irish football despite more controversies and drag us further and further down
1. Saints don't need to expand St Marys 2. England will never be a force in World football again 3. International football is just something to watch when there is no club football on
