Kroos would have been good. Think Coutinho is a gem. Controversial and i know people won't agree but Henderson at liverpool. Cesc and Hazard won't need to trackback as much with a strong worse horse like him.

Vidal would be good. Maybe Dobby from United if he isn't ridiculously expensive. Bale? Verrati? Wouldn't have minded Firmino if i was honest. Koke would fit into Joses philosophy. Maybe a cheeky bid for Muller?

Coutinho is class. Would love to get him. Works his arse off, creative and gets a goal.

Coutinho has become Liverpool's go to player especially with Sturridge out, Sterling's problems last year and Suarez sold. Would he stand out as much in our side? Hard to know but I genuinely don't think he's better than Oscar.

Open question. When you follow a player on twitter and they then leave the club, do you stop following them?

I don't use twitter or follow players but I guess it would depend on the player and where they went.

What's happening with Shaqiri? Seen Stoke have had a bid accepted! This guy's been at Bayern and Inter last few seasons and has been heavily linked with Liverpool among others. Had a fairly decent world cup as well.

    Looks a waste of talent.

    Some updated transfer news: -

Christensen has completed a 2 year loan move to Germany with Borrisia MG
Berkovic edges closer to being Cech's replacement
    Josh has signed for Brentford.
    Mikel being linked with Fenerbache

What the hell went wrong with Josh? Gutted he hasn't made it with us.

Josh was always a lightweight and he was facing a real test to get himself to Premiership quality. From what I have heard he failed because of his attitude more than anything else which is a great shame.

Signings wise I'd love to see some movement, but when other teams are improving its always easy to forget just how good our squad still is. Hazard, Matic, Willian (particularly excited for, I'm not sure why) etc they're all going to be getting better next season.

I still think a bid for another central midfielder would not go amiss though. Maybe Kondogbia? I think we could definitely do with strengthening the quality of our bench.

He's gone to Inter. Some reports linking us with Pedro which could be exciting.

Shame I had no idea. Is Pedro exciting? I honestly can't say I know enough about him to make a comment.

Asmir Begovic: Chelsea sign goalkeeper from Stoke City
Chelsea have signed goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Premier League rivals Stoke City.
The Bosnia-Hercegovina international signed for the Potters from Portsmouth in 2010 but joins Chelsea on a four-year deal.
Stoke had hoped to keep Begovic , who had just one year remaining on his contract at the Britannia Stadium, where he made 36 appearances last season.

    Great Keeper.
Maybe too good to be backup to be honest, as I really rate him, but if he is willing then thats fine by me.
Puts me at ease, that we again have great back up for Courtois,

Yep he's top notch and should still be a 1st choice somewhere.

United's business now rolling with Sneiderlin and Sweinsteiger pretty much tied up + the full back from Italy. This means they have probably signed 3 players to go into their actual first 11 already. City about to do the same with Sterling, Arsenal have done so with Cech and Liverpool have signed half of Europe!

We've pretty much stood still really. Falcao replaces Drogs, Berkovic in for Cech and the usual signings of some promising kids who'll never play. Anyone concerned? Do we need to do inject something into the first 11? I certainly think we do to challenge in Europe.

    Agreed.
We have pretty much just made like for like replacements of players who have left, of around equal quality.
I would like a midfielder, box to box guy who can play alongside Matic and behind Costa, Fab, Haz and Oscar/Willian.

Just one big name signing would do for me.
    No wholesale changes required.
That position is currently being rotated between Oscar (being moved back), Mikel and Ramires, and I don't think the latter two especially are up to snuff with the rest of our squad.

I would like to see Oscar further forward and a proper Box to Box guy in the there.

That's probably what I'd be looking at as well. I also think we should go for Hummells as long term JT replacement.

In midfield, the ideal signing I guess would be Pogba but he is far too expensive. I'm a little surprised we weren't in for Sneiderlin ourselves. Talk of Koke seems to have gone quiet. But that's the level we should be looking at. Isco is another I like.

I said this a lot during the summer.
I rate Zouma, think he will be the business. but we need 4 CB's. Ivan can play CB, but then I would prefer someone who plays there week in and week out.

Hummels would be perfect, just thinking whether it would be a season too early to get him though.

I doubt Madrid would let him go now, he is just starting to play to his potential.

Nothing Madrid would do would surprise me though.

They'll just spend a gajillion dollars on the latest 'name' and then sell off a genuinely high performing player to accommodate said 'name'.
