    did anyone else read the statement and think..... hmmmm thats a bit disrespectful to leicester in an offical statment. "championship outfit" a side swipe at konchesky perhaps?

    I wish Paul all the very best at Leicester. It never worked out for him at Liverpool and hopefully he can get his career back on track.

    On a side note, Leicester are spending a lot of money! I'd back them for promotion.

    Completely disagree. Paul Konchesky is not a disgrace of a man. People like Colonel Gaddafi and Osama Bin Laden are a disgrace to man. Stop talking rubbish.

    Surely if a player has "made it" then they are playing well. Do you not want players (regardless of who they are) playing well when wearing a Liverpool shirt?? You're a disgrace

    I understand that there was a clause in his contract with Liecester that "Liverpool have the choice of first refusal if they are to sell
    him" <laugh>
