Harold Kane has only had 3/4 of one good season. He's proved **** all yet. Daniel Levy should bite the ****ing hand off of LVG if he's offering anything over £30m for him. That said, the Spuds are ****ed without Kane.
Wherever he goes next season, it's going to be interesting to see if he is the real deal or not, because these days he is a marked man and therefore has less space to work with.
Last season he benefited from the relative anonymity of being a breakthrough player, but even then towards the end of the season he didn't really look like anything special. If he does move to a big team he's going to have his work cut out, because as you say he will be a marked man. Also he will have to make the step up to banging in 25+ goals regularly playing against teams who are desperate to beat you and against the best talent across Europe.
Didn't he score 7 or 8 goals in the Europa League against sides that have players who were plumbers and worked in kebab shops? Although you can only beat what's in front of you, his goalscoring record is somewhat distorted considering some of the teams he was up against in the Europa.
Cavani has just been sent off for two yellows, the first arguing with the lino, the second for brushing the chin of a chile defender who went down like a sack of spuds. Safe to say he wasn't a happy bunny leaving the field. To be fair though, Uruguay have been ****.
