I don't doubt you'll have a squad to match or even better theirs next season. I just think Mourinho will find a way to get the gritty 1-0s and 0-0s in a way Wenger won't.

I dunno fella. We ground out some pretty gritty results last season in games that in seasons past we might have lost. I remember on here some people moaning about us scraping 1 goal wins and saying it was papering over the cracks etc. I said then that I'll always take a win, whether it's scrappy, ugly, lucky, beautiful whatever. Sometimes those lucky wins are even more satisfying that hammering a team 4-0 because the points feel like a bonus.

I think Arsenal fans need to learn to praise the team when we scrape 1-0 wins, god knows the media are licking Maureen's arse when his team park the bus for a 1-0. At the end of the day it doesn't matter how you get the 3 points, as long as you get them.

None of those keepers had a greasy Ron Jeremy ponytail, so they don't count <ok>

IMO Seaman was probably in the top 5 or so keepers in the world at his peak. Cech at his peak WAS the best goalkeeper in the world. Not a massive amount between them, but I am reminded of a joke about Brazilian birth rates...

I haven't thought about Taffarel for ages! And Chilavery was amazing, particularly his freekicks!

My favourite Keeper name was Joel Bats. Apparently he was a poet too and I think he released a single.
