A sign that Van Aanholt isn't going back?

 

Since the debarcle of Liverpool, PK hasnt looked half the player he used to be. Even at Forest last season he didnt rip it apart. It was just a sign that Roy Hodgson was out of his depth at a top 4 club.

 

Van Aanholt is crap

 

So is Konchesky

 

He probably says that about everyone who leaves Leicester ^^

 

To be honest he did say Fryatt was crap but just a few months before in the summer he was sucking his balls saying he was worth at least £4m I think it was.

Very true. But P K was not that good at Notts Forest either. Expected much more from him.

Can anyone else (Leics fans apart) see Leicester City being a train wreck ? Where is there quality ? Danns apart.

2 years ago i would have agreed with you. Now i think his best days are over.

 

I know. But the the David Nugent that played @ Preston has been lost somewhere. Since Harry had him @ Pompey Nugent has only done now and again. He shoud be doing alot better i agree. Time will tell if Sven can get him going again.

It will be very interesting to see how Leicester go. So many new players needing to gell there. Shame that Hull City have to wait until there KC visit on december 3rd.

Kasper Schmeichel is better then all your keepers
As good as Jack Hobbs is he isnt better then Matt Mills
Neil Danns is proven quality in this league
I havent seen much of Peltier
Konchesky apart from last season has been solid for years in the prem.
St. Ledger was a 4.5M centre half a few years back. Things just went stale at PNE
Nugent same as St. Ledger, pompey paid 6M for him when he played and scored for England. Too much happened at Pompey for him to ever reach his potential.

We are saying that you always call all your players crap when you sell them/lose them

 

Kasper is better than all our keepers because we don't have any, so that's pretty much moot until we sign one
Mills has to settle into a new team whereas Hobbs already knows this one.
Danns is quality, nearly as quality as Bullard, even if he gets crocked/sold, Koren scored as many goals as Danns last season
Peltier i've never even heard of - no comment
Konchesky is proof that Mills is no guarantee, great one season then transferred for big money and flopped. No sign of a revival yet
St.Ledger had a terrible season last year so he'll need to bounce back, definate quality there but our Chester had a better season last year so i'm happy with him
Nugent hasn't done anything for years


I'm not going to suggest that you won't do anything this season, you've got a great squad and a brilliant manager, but don't come on the Hull City board trying to gloat about your transfers when they aren't much better than what we've already got for a fraction of the price.

 

Sven is not a brilliant manager though, good post otherwise.

You drastically overpaid for Mills
Danns is good but nowhere near the standard of Bullard
Then there's Nugent and St Ledger both decent players
