But not sure what sort of sensible debate is supposed to be generated by coming onto an Arsenal forum and saying the best keeper weve had in the last 25 years was 'decent' or that mourinho doesn't consider us a challenger?
It was sort of a WUM comment but some people just go overboard with their comments that make them sound ridiculous. That's why i ignored it.
**** sake it was a joke that he doesn't consider you a challenger. How ****ing sensitive do you have to be about it? And I don't think Seaman was particularly brilliant. A good goalkeeper but not world-class as Cech was/is. If you take that to be wumming then so be it.
Presuming the Cech deal goes through, one of the added bonuses will be that he'll be able to give us lots of info about how Chelsea approach games, their tactics, reactions to situations, opinions about players, styles of play, etc. It should give us an inside track on how Maureen approaches games and situations. Unless that is, that the blackboard on the wall in the chelsea dressing room really is just a picture of a double decker bus

You are actually wrong. He posts on the Chelsea board quite a bit and is a fair poster. Try reading his stuff objectively and you'll see you've got him wrong imo.
I'm not sure where I've said he only posts on the Arsenal boards. I'm just annoyed with him on here because, since he started posting on here, he's only posted negative posts about Arsenal, with no posts designed to promote serious discussion, just posts obviously designed to wind up Arsenal fans - of course, except his sarcy 'best keeper ever, is that positive enough' post. Fair play if he's different on other boards though.
What was sarcastic about it? I think he's the best goalkeeper to play in England for 20 years plus and the best for Arsenal ever. Pretty much all my posts here have just been pointing out what a mug 87 is. Neither positive nor negative. Cech is a top signing but I honestly think until Wenger goes you won't get close to a title.

I reckon that could be a comment that comes back to haunt you on a similar scale to HIAG. If we hadn't had such a crap start last season we would have been challenging the Chavs for the title and even then there was an outside chance near the end that we might catch them (until the celebrated their 0-0 draw at Emirates) If we do sign Cech and a proper DM, then we definitely have a squad capable of challenging Chelsea for the title. It would be comedy gold if the the difference between us and the chavs next season was made due to the points earned by Cech

I'd predicted us to finish 2nd in our prediction league, but who knows ? with Cech and maybe a top DM it's possible we could win it ? The predictions I criticise are the ones where people predict Arsenal will finish 7th behind the Spuds. No prizes for guessing who made that one
Completely agree. Probably only Oliver Khan was better at the time. Is Cech better than Seaman in his prime ? Difficult to compare given the difference in the game nowdays, but overall I'm happy that both will have played for Arsenal
