    Hmm, that is a tad worrying. Both goals were given up at the death of each half. Make that two in this second half. Kenny needs to sort that out asap. Pre-season or not that is a trait we do NOT want to have. Anyone who has played the game knows how deflating goals like that can be. This should have been a comfortable 4-1. Again, I know it is pre-season but goals in the critical 5's need sorting pronto.

    Liverpool survive a late comeback from the Chinese team.

    Full-Time: 4-3

    Good performance except the last 2-3 minutes but we need to cut that out before the start of the season proper

    I'd like to think that it was fatigue that caused the goals. Some poor defending but hopefully these will be cut out once they get their fitness levels up.

    I think I went off on a tangent but just want that sorted. Probably because this summer my team has conceded goals like this all summer and it has driven me crazy!

    It was probably a combination of fitness and concentration both will improve rapidly over the next couple of weeks.

    bad defending at the end. 4-3.

    carrol looked busy at least, if he' up for work this early its a good sign, will get sharper as the season gets closer.

    aquilani is getting slated by mark wright for not working. compared to pacheco and shelvey he was far more aware and alive.

    adam was fine, so was cole first half.

    over all nothing too bad, no-one injured i hope and lots to build on.

    I tell you what though is a real conundrum, coady, wisdom, wilson and kelly are all very good young boys all vying for cb slots. flanagan and robinson are good full backs even at thier ages. I just wonder if comolli and dalglish brings in a CB and a LB what will happen to the kids.

    Not even mentioned ayala.
