That t looks dangerous. I hope nobody takes any children. What t if people jump up and down or wave flags about? There will be mayhem and people traumatised for life. On the other hand...
I agree e. I'm m not going if there's no seats anyway can't be arsed to stand up for almost two hours.
They aren't both valid. Begs the question, which is often misused but would apply to this sentence, is correct, begs to question is meaningless in this context. Probably meaningless in most others as well. You missed the comma out after No at the start of the second sentence. Perhaps it would have been better to study English before messing about with Media Studies.
You posted the same on CI, neither post says who's banner it is - is it ours or theirs? If it's theirs, fair play for the piss take.
Just reread the tweet. It was put as a question so I guess it's a suggestion for any City fan to consider.
Well you should have payed more attention at uni. Ya#1... how's ya brother....Ya#2 28th letter of the Arabic alphabet...Ya#3 Young Adult. It's all in the dictionary for everyone to see
And you put a double space after 'You'. You also didn't put 'no' in quotation marks, which is also incorrect as it now implies that the capitalisation of 'No' makes the word a proper noun. Which, of course, you didn't mean to do. Actually, while we are on this, why was I "messing around" doing Media Studies? It isn't the doss course people assume it to be and it's actually pretty useful; I've probably used what I learned a lot more than the algebra or periodic table symbols I learned at A-Level.
Sorry, I studied English (not Arabic) at university, not pedantic dictionary look ups. People say 'ya' all the time, it's part of many regional dialects and hence why it's made it into the dictionary. It is the fact that people write it instead of putting 'you', why do it? To save time? What else were you going to do with that half a microsecond? It's just ****ing laziness and it looks ****.
No matter what your argument Sterling. You said it wasn't a word and it clearly is so therefore you are wrong
So? I'm not a walking dictionary; you know exactly what my point was and you actually went out of your way to look up the definition just to prove me wrong? And I hate to correct you further, but it's actually a colloquialised contraction, it wasn't technically a word in the ENGLISH language until the late 2000's, after I'd already finished university. Plus we did a whole module on colloquialisms and dialects in modern literatures. So, yes, you are right, it is now a recognised word in the English dictionary. It's right up there with "pedant".
It's 'paid more attention'. We don't post in Arabic, YA for Young Adult is an abbreviation not a word and 'ya' as a word is some lazy American slang ****e so doesn't count either.
And Cup games prices are set at the standard home match admission prices unless BOTH clubs agree to a different set of prices. So if we're getting charged their standard prices it doesn't mean they don't want lower prices. Does raise the question when clubs have categorised games which category would be used to set the default if they couldn't agree on prices for the match though.
being correct makes youma pompous prick? Being correct makes someone a pompous prick? I guess you are just a prick most of the time then.
