End of the season - was only a short term contract.

    The replacement was laughable

I can't see Yoni Buyens or Ajdarevic as listed as Liege players on Wiki. Is Yoni unattached now?

Similarly it's interesting to note Liege have just signed Anthony Knockaert. Wikipedia also says they have a Japanese jazz musician in midfield so I'm not sure what to believe.

    Jazzanese.

Yoni has a year left but has been linked to st trudy (network) and big bobs team.

ajdaravic featured early in the season but came in for a lot of criticsm. This was when liege struggled after the turnover in players and were struggling.

So that suggests whoever makes these decisions doesn't fancy having either of those two back...

Reza's loan has finished so he in theory is a Charlton player again.

Yoni was saying at the POTY he missed his family (sig can maybe elaborate on this)

Take it for what it's worth, but a fellow journo (portugoal1) on Twitter who I'm talking with about Bauer has said from what he understands from starpix is they always retain lists of youngsters released from big clubs in the big leagues and keep an eye on them.

    Football manager scouting that is.

Derby sign Weimann - great bit of business there. He, Martin and Bent next season are a deadly trio, probably the best in the league.

Liam Bridcutt signing for them too. Wouldn't write them off, only the speculation over Mclaren which damaged them last season.

Been to the #T20blast tonight! Have to admit, it was real fun. Kent beat Surrey at the Kia Oval. You can drink beer in your seats and the atmosphere is electrifying. And on top of, their average attendances is about 8,000~9,000 more than ours.

No big names, no multi-million pound players or billionaire owners.

Was a good laugh, and football owners can take a couple of tips about what they're doing there.

Anyone watching u21s? I thought Jenkinson has been England's best player over the two matches so far. On that form must be in contention for both the Arsenal and England senior spots which are both up for grabs.

England may need to beat Italy to qualify for semis. What I have seen so far I cannot see that happening. Our CBs (Moore and Gibson) have looked shaky as hell during the little they have had to do. Carroll is an automatic pick but I have never been impressed with him. Chalobah has not developed as hoped. Redmond was anonymous in the second game. Alex Pritchard was great in two part-games but may now be injured.

Southgate stuck with the guys who got us there, but some of them are not good enough at this higher level. Now he has all sorts of selection and formation problems trying to change things. At least they are trying to play football, unlike under Pearce.

The word Morris derives from the word ‘Moorish' or ‘morisco' (a derogatory term meaning ‘little Moors'). During the late Middle Ages, Morris dancers were sometimes referred to as morisco dancers, and the blackened faces are most certainly a nod to our north African friends. The Moors were known for their colourful outfits, bells and other accessories, so we must consider this to be more than a coincidence.

    Have a good evening. :emoticon-0167-beer:

Cheers, Ponders, just got back. The only disappointment was the Fool, who despite his joker's garb was useless, and did not contribute. He always seems an integral part of the whole caboodle.
