    He'd still be a cracking signing for someone. Obviously in terms of our left back options, we could do with a bit of quality. Ashley Cole will not be it though. Age, wages, we're **** etc etc.

    When will our first signing be? Even Watford have got 3 players in including breaking their transfer record paying £7 m for Argentina winger Perotta from Genoa.

    We offered him one but has he accepted it? I heard it was £100 a week and a bonus of £10 for every goal and nothing if he's on the sick.

    Even if there was some semblance of truth in an offer, I'm sure he'd stay away due more to the fact that the Tweedy clan will be waiting with pitch forks and rolled up giro books ready to exact revenge.

    It wouldn't hurt to have someone as experienced as Ashley Cole here next season.

    Haidara looks light-weight and Dummet can also play CB so we could easily accomodate him into the squad.

    Seems highly unlikely though!

    ALERT TO NUFC. Bargain basement players for sale at Parma, Italy. Club gone bankrupt, dropped to Italian 4th Division so lots of CHEAP, CHEAP bargains. This fits our stratergy down to the ground.
