We have heard stories of people remembering things from their past life. A man born and living in America knew that she was born to a family in Ireland before. All investigated and confirmed, Certain things beyond our understanding.
Maybe but highly unlikely, the person who's sister had died had never told anyone outside of the family.
Without probing questions that's nonsensical. You compared it to the likes of Derren Brown, they do take a lead off peoples body language, but they also use subtle probing to get the reaction. If the kid has just walked up to someone and spouted facts that he could never have been privvy to, then that's different to what you're suggesting.
One of the scenarios was the kid was having a full blown conversation with thin air, laughing and interacting the dinner lady walked up and asked who are you talking to the answer was one word that was the nickname of the persons dead grandmother. The person just broke down in tears.
Bollocks and triple bollocks. I have seen these people walk up to someone they never met, and say "I can tell you the cheesiest pick up line a guy has ever used on you" Look in their eyes for 10 seconds, and then word for word say it back to them. Please don't contend this. Or I will think you are a giant ******. (if that means a damn to you). The most frustrating thing in the world is when someone ill informed argues against something you know to be fact. and the worst part is I cannot take out my frustration by punching you in the face, as we are on the internet. I know, without question, that there are people who can do this. I have had it done to me. It wasn't Derren Brown obviously, but an NLP/hypnostist/body language expert said to me "I can tell you the name of your best friend at Primary school". Then boom "Ben Whitman" his name. This from a guy who didn't know me from Adam. No magic required. Its all in body language. This woman was most likely thinking of her sister when the boy spoke out. When they say "I can tell you the name of....blah blah" instantly you think of it. The way you move your hands and eyes will give them clues as to the letters that spell out the word.
I don't believe that to be honest. You mean like psychic abilities? Again, if such things existed, it would have been conclusively proven by now without doubt. Thats some X-Men **** right there.
Human have been proving all the time, but human knowledge is limited. I personally know someone doctors gave 6 months to live because of aggressive cancer about twenty years ago. The woman is still living. How do you explain that?.
You gullible twat. As if he's picked up the exact name from your eye movements, what do you think you did spell it out with your ****ing pupils
Breathe. Please do some research before mouthing off Tobes, I know you are old but you are normally better than this. And yes, you do spell it out with your eyes, muscle twitches and everything. Actually its not as frustrating as I thought over the internet, more a warm glow that I am assured someone is unknowingly wrong Do some real research on body language reading and NLP. I spent weeks looking into it after I saw Derren live the first time because I couldn't believe it was either a supernatural ability (which goes against all my core beliefs) or some kind of trick. I knew neither my family nor I were stooges and we all had it happen.
Thats just a doctor being wrong. They are all the time, when they give you a estimate time of death its always an educated guess and nothing more. Same as Stephen Hawking, who was given 2 years to live 50 years ago
As I said................ gullible They're practiced in the art of illusion and their mentalism tricks are just that - tricks, they possess no special powers ffs. The salient point being it's a learned illusion and not something some 7 year old kid could replicate in the random way that is being described here.
This is exactly what I am saying. They are reading your acute body language movements. They have no psychic abilities and they freely admit this. No illusions or tricks at all. How can an illusory trick make someone look into my eyes, and tell me the name of a kid I knew 20 years ago And I am gullible? Really is nothing more to say, been on the internet for 20 years and have never once seen someone change someone elses mind, especially someone old. I will just leave it at the fact that I have researched this, seen it with my own eyes and spoken to experts on it in length, where as you as you have read a couple of lines on a football forum and gone "Not fooking possible likkkkkkkkkkkkke".......here endeth the lesson.
I got a little too heated, its my fault. Just had this conversation with so many people before it gets my goat. Through a combination of Body language reading, cold reading, and Ideomotor functions, a person, if trained can tell literally anything about you just from watching you move, hearing you speak, observing facial ticks and all kinds of things Look into some of it, its fascinating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_phenomenon
hahaha, you carry on believing that the art of mentalism is something other than an illusion pal, if it makes you happy. And I'm sure you're a ****ing expert in the field p.s. I'm not 'old' btw
It is interesting ....... but one of the things that people with autism can't do it read body language
You may have a point but it doesn't fit my OP. The child is certainly not trained in anything, reading and writing is a problem.
